Experience

What is a sound bath and what can I expect?

A sound bath is a meditative experience which is led by a practitioner creating different sounds on various instruments. This experience will last 75 minutes. We’ll start with a short meditation and stretching exercise, which will be followed by approximately 60 minutes of relaxation and embracing the different sounds. The whole experience will be under the shine of hundreds of candles.

How does a sound bath work and what are the impacts on my body?

Everything around us is vibrating with frequencies. Sound is vibration, with frequencies perceived by ears and every cell of our being. The body is 75% water and resonates with sound. When vibrations travel through the body, they promote better circulation, enhanced energy flow, and rejuvenation of the cells. Sounds which aid synchronisation with brainwaves, trigger beneficial responses via our nervous system to balance the body. To heal is to make sound. Ponder how an uplifting melody can greatly improve one’s outlook. Sound can shift frequencies from low energy of guilt and fear, up to higher vibrations of love and joy. Sound healing can help you clear energetic blockages, facilitating healing on a physical and mental level.

I don’t have a yoga mat, what should I do?

We recommend you to rent a yoga mat if you cannot bring one with you. To do so you have to select the yoga mat rental in the fever app. To ensure that we have enough mats on site we need confirmation at least 48 hours prior to the event. If its too late you can always bring a thick towel or anything similar sized to a yoga mat that allows you to get comfortable.

I have never done a sound bath before, do I need to have any skills?

No, our sound bath experience is open for everyone.

Do I need to wear special clothing?

We recommend you to wear something comfortable, ideally sport clothes as the experience will include some stretches.
