Questions of clarity regarding University Councils:

1) Regarding Community Engagement Council. Is this on hiatus, or is it the Faculty Advisory Group? Will Faculty Advisory Group be meeting this year even if the Council is on hiatus?

2) Regarding Public Safety and Security Committee. Will this follow the former presentation structure (one rep from each campus) until the FA Safety and Security Taskforce has completed its work to create an FA Safety and Security Committee?

V.E. Reps needed to Statewide MinnState Committees

  • Graduate education (two-year term)
  • Global education (two-year term)
  • Standards of Effective Practice (SEPs) Review and Alignment Ad Hoc Committee (two-year term)
  • Note: Reps. must primarily teach in undergraduate early childhood, elementary, secondary, or special ed teacher education.

IFO committees

  • Academic Affairs
  • Constitutional Review (ideally someone from our FA Constitution and Operating Procedures Committee would be on this).

How do faculty confirm their ongoing appointment to Statewide groups not listed here?
