Not all trans people get surgery - it is a personal choice for every person to make.

If you do decide to pursue surgery, choosing a surgeon can be hard.

This is a list of surgeons that many people in the local trans community have gone to.

Many will travel to Salt Lake City, Spokane, or Seattle for care, though depending on what surgery you’re considering, there are options available here in Boise.

The purpose of this list is to list providers we can back up with people’s personal experience, not just what a Google search could tell you.

We encourage you to look into all the options available to you, and talk with your insurance and primary care doctor.
