One of the most significant incoming archival collections this summer were additions to the Jonathan Goldstein papers. Dr. Goldstein, a professor of East Asian studies in History, was a scholar and author who specialized in Jewish communities in Asia. The 14 boxes of additions to his papers contain files he maintained, which include notes, correspondence, newspaper clippings, and more about an array of these communities, particularly in China. Also included in his papers are nearly comprehensive runs of rare serials, with articles written in English, Hebrew, and Russian:  Bulletin (Igud yotsʼe Sin). Russian. / Igud iot︠s︡eĭ Sin = [Byuleṭin Igud yotsʼe Sin] and Israel-China Voice of Friendship.
