October 2017 to present: Senior Delivery Manager, GPO (Wolters Kluwer NV)

Wolters Kluwer is a global information services company. GPO (Global Platform Organization) is the internal provider of digital platforms and tools for the next generation of expert solutions (including advanced search and AI capabilities). As one of the 5 delivery managers in Europe, I am responsible for the 4 development teams for all web-based products in Italy.

March 2015 to October 2017: Product Owner, Legal Intelligence (Wolters Kluwer NV)

As the leading Dutch content integrator in the legal space, Legal Intelligence offers a highly customized search and knowledge management facility to over 100k users. As the factotum, I was involved with nearly all departments to bring innovation, operational excellence (using TOGAF) and expand the product portfolio into new and international markets. I was also a member of the Wolters Kluwer Nederland Works Council.

April 2014 to December 2015: Product Manager, Decos Mobile Solutions BV

Flo is a mobile app that provides real-time feedback on your driving behavior. The position included managing the development of the Android app (weekly scrum sprint meetings), monthly reporting to the board, market & competitor analysis, offline & online marketing, testing and deciding product strategy (defining the backlog).

December 2011 to December 2013: CTO (Systems Analyst & Architect), Channel Media Company BV

Responsible for stabilizing and running the existing hardware and software. Developing additional features for data management systems and websites for customers like TechData (Fortune 500) and Euronics / Selexion (11.000 stores in 30 countries). Architecting the new central Channel & Product Management application (including the complete development methodology & process). And managing the development with a 10+ remote team in India.

March 2010 to January 2012: Senior Consultant Internet Strategy & Technical Advisor, BCG eProjects BV

Responsible for assisting a small team of customer/project managers with all technical aspects (reviewing proposals, design documents, consulting on contracts up to € 250k, review test results, interpret statistics, etc). Maintained relationships with the technical teams from customers.

1995 to present: Founder & General Manager of several Internet companies.

Set up and sold several innovative companies: OnePay Internet Hosting, KR8WEB, eBrain, Supply Selector, etc.

I am currently still active with eBrain (Internet consultancy, second opinions on IT) and Copy Hosting (hosting consultancy and custom hosting solutions).

It is my passion to share & apply my broad experience gained from over 100 projects, traveling to 40+ countries, coaching 150+ interns (Coders Academy BV), working with customers, freelancers and staff from 4 continents.

I am interested in data, privacy/security, machine learning, the future (World Future Society), education & didactic systems, MLM/NWM, money systems (Ricardian Contracts), angel/seed investing, etc. I like to wine & dine haute cuisine, occasionally play golf, and play with hardware & software. I am creative, systematic, rational and strategic (Myers-Briggs: ESTJ). I am a fan of and The Economist.
