Partner Gym Code of Conduct
FINA, The Federation of International Ninja Athletics, is committed to providing a competitive, safe, fun, and fair environment for all participants, regardless of geographical location or gym. We want our Partner Gyms to share this vision for the sport of ninja. To achieve this goal, we expect our gyms to abide by the following Partner Gym Code of Conduct. Failure to abide by these terms may result in probation, suspension, or expulsion of the Partner Gym from hosting current or future FINA events. For the purposes of this Code of Conduct, “Partner” refers to ALL EMPLOYEES of the FINA Partner Gym. Unless specifically noted, this Code of Conduct is in place for the entirety of the season (not just at hosted FINA events), and may be enforced by FINA at any time. This Code of Conduct will automatically renew at the end of the season, unless specifically modified by FINA, or if the Partner Agreement is terminated by either party at any time.
Partner will treat each FINA participant (including, but not limited to: athletes, coaches, officials, parents, or volunteers) with respect and dignity.
Partner will prioritize athlete safety at all times.
Partner will work to provide fair and equitable competition for all athletes.
Partner will not disparage, insult, or demonstrate/encourage any other type of unsportsmanlike behavior in words or actions towards another gym, coach, athlete, official, or volunteer.
During Partner’s FINA events, Partner will not show favoritism towards any one athlete or group of athletes.
During Partner’s FINA events, Partner will uphold the Spirit of the Obstacle.
During Partner’s FINA events, Partner will encourage the athletes to challenge themselves against the course, not against the other athletes.
