Can all parents / athletes confirm booking of these flights as initially indicated by athletes via return of email.
Most athletes have returned completed paperwork – however the athlete and parent code of conduct is still to be completed. This will be emailed out and should be signed and returned. We would ask parents to remind athletes of the honor bestowed on them in representing their nation and that families study the Code of Conduct fully and understand that strong sanctions will be taken if required.

The core cost for this camp are approximately £650 per athlete. The SSSA is subsidising this cost to the tune of £200 for each athlete. Therefore parents are required to pay £450. Please make payment in GBP to the below account as soon as possible, and confirm with James or Angela when payment has been made. The deadline for payment is 28th January 2018. Please include name of athlete in payment reference. The only cost not included in this are lunches each day and the cost of transfer to Bormio for those travelling on with SSSA to the English Championships. A second email will cover this transfer.

We are hoping to secure a large sponsorship deal by the end of this week. This will see our team fitted out with the highest quality kit for this event. More to follow very soon!
Should this happen, there may be money refunded to parents after all the accounts have been finalised for the camp.
If we have not received full payment and your paperwork by the deadline, we will assume you no longer want your place and will re-allocate it to a reserve athlete.
We will confirm the team accommodation with you as soon as we are able to. The team will stay in the official hotel for the event, which will be confirmed in due course.
If your child sustains an injury which requires medical attention, SSSA staff will, at all times, follow the advice of the Medical Practioner in attendance. If the Medical Practitioner advises your child not to ski, this advice will, at all times, be followed. BSS will not accept any form of parental waiver contrary to medical advice.
Both the accommodation and transport are arranged by the local organisers, and we usually share these with other national teams. Therefore we must advise parents that these items are carried at your/your child’s own risk.
8. Pocket Money
For this camp money is only required for lunches on the hill, an occasional extra drink or snack therefore athletes should require no more than £100 in Euros maximum!
9. Scottish Souvenirs / Kilts
The international nature of this event means that Scottish heritage will be central to our team. We would encourage athletes to seek out suitable Scottish souvenirs, flags etc to bring along to swap with other nations. We would also be keen that our athletes take this opportunity to wear kilts and bring bag-pipes - we have a strong tradition at this event to uphold.
We may not have ready access to a telephone in the hotel. We will provide emergency contact numbers for the team delegate and head coaches nearer the time.
We are always delighted to welcome parents at these exciting events, in a supporting role.
Quite a few parents have made this trip in the past, and enjoyed the experience. The Head Coach, Ross Gardner will be very happy to discuss plans with any parents who may be attending the games.
We expect a more detailed schedule from the organisers very soon and will forward that information on to you when it becomes available.
