Golf Course Update-Dan Hotchkin 

• Working on 15 tee and some garden areas
• Trying to roll greens this week and every week as weather allows (not too hot)
• Dan got the suggestions from Fallon, will consider for next year’s budget (in by September), Steve will send priorities by end of August
• PH Men’s Championship, low registration so far,  course will be marked as it will for the Takahashi, prefer to keep it local golfers, minimum is 50
• 12 tee times for Labor Day
• Takahashi - 7am Saturday all off of 1,  Sunday 12:10 off of 1 and 10
• PH Fall Scramble 10/2
• Golf Carts still waiting

Park District Report - Joe Petricca

Nothing to report

Treasurer Report - Joe Soccomanno

Joe not in attendance, report has been distributed, no vote on approval

Motion to table the approval until treasurer is here by Helpap, Doherty second

Webmaster Report - Greg Brunks

• Need info on Takahasi

• What is the food
• What is the cost

• We’re going to use the online supplemental form

New Member - Dan Stockwell

• Nothing to report

Scorekeeper Report - Bob Bem

• Scoring system is being worked on for phantom and refunds

Travel Events - Stockwell reported

• August event is ready to go, 24 signed up, 1 sub
• Eric will scorekeep along with Tim Byrne

MIP-Stockwell/Bem 

• MIP selection have been determined
• Maybe next year wait through Club Championship suggested by Eric
• This is the last year of funding for the MIP
• Looking for corporate sponsor
• It’s $550 per year, Dan suggest that the PHGA fund it, will discuss in October

Match Play- Tim Geier

• Match Play - Tournament of champions, $25 entry, winner takes all

Pace of Play/Rules - Eric Schorsch

• Eric and Bob will put together a summary of rules for the Takahashi
• Everyone should mark their balls on two sides, to many people are touching their golf balls
• Suggestion for top five rule issues review at Friday night reception

Historian-John Helpap

• John will update us on quorum rules

Member Health-All

• Tom Stewart is not doing well
• Doug James’ wife is not 100%

Salute-Bower

• Was a sellout, went well, might change format to improve pace of play (some were at 6 hours)
• Half the field was PHGA members and guests
• Rick Green was great signing the anthem
• This was the 5th year
• Net of $75,000 of which Larry Koslicki donated $33,000

NEW BUSINESS

• 2022 Board Slate - Nominating Committee

• Toth and Jessogne are retiring from the board
• Terry Ellis and Tim Byrne are joining
• No election with net changes
• Board is filled for 2022
• Motion to approve the nominations Crowley, approved by all

• PHGA Blue Shirts  - Bower

• Two new directors will receive shirts

• Labor Day Tournament - Faruzzi

• Mark will send an email
• Birthday party on Monday, Rick Green will buy cake

Takahashi Tournament-Sept 10-11-12

• Friday night reception-Crowley/Geier

• In Clubhouse is the plan
• Raffle names on little papers for drawing - Faruzzi
• the picnic pavilion by the course is already reserved
• 5:30 pm Board meeting at 5:30pm
• 7:00 pm members arrive
• 7:00 - 8:00 get winnings from treasurer, pay for  supplemental
• 7:15 pm rule review
• 7:30 pm pizza
• 8:00 pm raffle drawing
• 8:05 pm Tee time draw - Feldmiller

• Toth catering food and drink to be determined
• 50/50 Raffle

• No cash collect
• Add $20 to entry fee

• Supplemental  - all online
• Spotters - Crowley will talk to Dan, between 1/9, ⅚ and 10/14
• Sat Tee Times board, easel and draw- Feldmiller
• Print scorecards and rules deliver to Sat starter - Feldmiller

• Scoring 2 ball - any rule questions brought to the tournament committee
