Tips for using SMART Goal Generator

Understanding SMART Goals

A SMART goal is a focused goal that is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Results-Oriented, and Time-bound.

Look at the difference between these versions of the same sentiment.

The first is a generic goal but it may be hard to do focused activities.  The second is a SMART goal because it is measurable, results-oriented, and time-bound.  It will be easier to build a development plan based on this goal.

You can use the SMART Goal generator to help identify the components of a SMART goal.  It will be up to you to put them together in a format that works for you.
