Tips for using SMART Goal Generator
A SMART goal is a focused goal that is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Results-Oriented, and Time-bound.
Look at the difference between these versions of the same sentiment.
The first is a generic goal but it may be hard to do focused activities. The second is a SMART goal because it is measurable, results-oriented, and time-bound. It will be easier to build a development plan based on this goal.
You can use the SMART Goal generator to help identify the components of a SMART goal. It will be up to you to put them together in a format that works for you.
Click here for more details on how to create SMART goals.
The “Intro” sheet allows you to begin customizing the form for your own purpose.
Click the “Activities” tab to document what activities you are doing related to your goals. The SMART goals from the “Goals” sheet will automatically be entered into the SMART Goal column.
