Park Champions Running Team
BROAD STREET RUN FAQ
Q: How does the fundraising work?
A: Participants are asked to each pay a $25 registration fee and then commit to raising another $475 using the Runsignup platform by May 19, 2025. If you don't meet that fundraising goal by that date, the credit card you have on file with Runsignup will be automatically charged.
All money raised is non-refundable and directly supports Fairmount Park Conservancy's work in Philadelphia's public park system.
Q: Is my bib guaranteed once I sign up, or do I need to reach the $475 donation first?
A: Once you sign up as part of our team, your bib is guaranteed.
Q: What am I fundraising for?
A: You're fundraising for the Fairmount Park Conservancy, the nonprofit partner of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation dedicated to supporting and improving our city’s parks.
OUR MISSION: Fairmount Park Conservancy brings parks to life. We work with the City of Philadelphia and its communities to steward our parks and nurture our shared environment, cultural resources and public health.
OUR VISION: We envision a vibrant, high-quality, and equitable Philadelphia park system for everyone.

Q: I just registered, what should I do next?
A: You’re all set! Keep fundraising and spreading the word to your friends and family about Fairmount Park Conservancy and our mission that you’re supporting. We’ll be in touch with more updates as race day approaches.
Q: Do you have Fundraising Tips?
A: Please visit our fundraising toolkit page HERE. Once you register, you can create a personal donation page on Runsignup where you can share more about your story and why this mission matters to you. From there, you can share your page with others to encourage them to contribute. You can also link your donation page to your Facebook or Instagram account (link in bio) to easily set up a social media fundraiser. Be sure to tag us on social media: @myphillypark
Remember, many companies offer donation matching for employees, so be sure to check if your employer participates.
