The Associate Financial Advisor is a full-time position intended for a licensed financial advisor in a team environment as a long-term career.

Michael Traxler Wealth Management, LLC (MTWM) is an established and growing SEC Registered Investment Advisor located in New Prague, MN serving the southern Minnesota region. We are a 100% fee-based fiduciary, serving retirement minded individuals with retirement planning services, personalized investment management, and on-going financial advice as needed. We are a small office and work together to support our clients in every way we can. At MTWM we are looking for a talented, ambitious person that is willing to start at an entry level for ongoing development with a desire to learn and grow with the company long-term.

Job Description:

This position will be in-training in a team environment and their responsibility will be to learn about the company and its operations from the ground up. Then ultimately function as a licensed financial advisor responsible for a group of the firm’s clients, gain a unique knowledge of fee-based annuities, and support others in the company with tasks and analysis.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma with at least 2 years of work experience – preferably in financial services
• Proficiency in Excel & Word

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors, Post-Secondary Associates, or Trade School Certificate
• Knowledge of financial products/services and the financial services industry
• Active Securities or Investment Advisor Representative license – Series 7 & 66 or 65 or a willingness to obtain
• Prior experience in the financial services industry
• 3-5 years of significant work experience in other fields
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and be a good listener
• Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy and consistency
• Strong Computer Skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus pay based on firm wide goals

Benefits:

• One week paid time off after 90 days, two weeks paid time off after 1 year
• Retirement plan with match after 6 months

Physical Setting:

• Office in New Prague, MN

Work Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
