Read a recipe! Cook or bake some food with a family member.

With your finger, draw a letter or a word on a family member’s back. See if they can guess it correctly. Have them draw on yours too! Can you guess it?

Read a book with an adult. Discuss with the adult which character was telling the story. Explain how you know it was that character.

Create a sensory bag! Fill a ziploc bag (gallon) with candy sprinkles or rice or small dried beans. Use your finger to practice writing letters and words. Kids enjoy feeling the texture as they write! And it can be used over and over!

Roll dice to see how to read a story! If you roll a:
