Yard of the Month
The Pushmataha County Chamber of Commerce and the Antlers Garden Club are partnering to sponsor Yard of the Month in Antlers, Oklahoma.
Know of a pretty yard, someone that puts forth extra effort to make their yard stand out, has lots of pretty flowers or landscaping, keeps it extra neat? Nominate them for Yard of the Month.
You can nominate by calling 580-298-2488 and give the nominee’s Name, address, and phone. If the house does not have a good street address, we will need directions to locate the property.
Nominations will be taken thru the 10th of each month, April thru December. During November and December holiday decorations will be the criteria, rather than landscaping.
A team of judges will view the nominations and judge on a point system. The winner will be contacted, an appointment set up to present the Sign (which will be traveling), and a certification to the winner.
Start noticing pretty yards now and nominate a friend or neighbor for this honor. Yard of The Month nominations will be open for April - December, 2022.

New Beginnings of Southeastern Oklahoma
is a non-profit, interdenominational ministry. Our House of Joy, houses women in crisis. We support ladies coming out of jail, prison and other crisis situations. This program allows them to have a safe place to live while getting back on track. All staff are volunteers. We help them find jobs, get their license back, set up court cost payments, reconnect with families and deal with other life issues. We can house up to 8 clients at a time. All funds from fundraisers and Touch of Joy Resale Store support the ministry. We also give back to our community by way of helping those who have had house fires, need help with clothing, baby registration, and many other ways. We currently are having a 50% off sale on all coats and jackets. Our sales change every month, we also have clothing bag sales that our customers really enjoy!

Keep Oklahoma Beautiful is taking part in the nation’s largest annual cleanup. We are encouraging you to make a visible difference where you live by registering for the 2022 Great American Cleanup - Oklahoma. Each registration will be given FREE gloves, vests, and trash bags to complete their clean up. Three clean up dates have been scheduled for the Antlers area. 3 clean ups scheduled:

Small Business Administration Restaurant Revitalization Fund begins 05/07/2021
The Restaurant Revitalization Fund provides emergency assistance for eligible restaurants, bars, and other qualifying businesses impacted by COVID-19. Registration for the SBA application portal is now open. For the first 21 days of the program, the SBA will fund applications where the applicant has self-certified that it meets the eligibility requirements for a small business owned by women, veterans, or socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. The application and full details are available on the SBA’s Restaurant Revitalization Fund webpage.
