How to Access Destiny Discover, the online JHMS Library catalog, to see what you have checked out, when items are due, and more!

Access Destiny Discover - for quick access, check your iPad for a webclip that looks like this:

Login to your Destiny account using your TCSD Google account

Go to My Stuff; then select Checkouts

You will see all the items you have currently checked out.

FYI: if you returned the items within the last day, it may not have been checked in yet by the librarians from the Book Return slot.

Review your account and TAKE ACTION as needed:

Here are some ideas for…

• almost due item(s): Need more time? Renew them yourself. (Students are able to renew most materials themselves*: click on the 3 dots and select “Renew”. Look for the confirmation message and/or refresh your browser to see the new date.)
• overdue item(s): Return them to the JHMS Library NOW; or bring it in-person NOW to ask for more time (renew) 

*NOTE: Students can renew books themselves 1 time (so long as they have nothing overdue); if you are not able to renew yourself please bring the book(s) to the JHMS Library for an in-person renewal. Books on HOLD for others can not be renewed.

• item(s) due in the future: Set a reminder for the due date and return the item(s) on that day (Ex: on your iCal)
• mistake(s) in your account: Come talk to the JHMS Library staff members and/or send us an email (agillen@tcsd.org | smusclow@tcsd.org) to kindly let us know we made a mistake. We will look into it and try to correct it. We may need your help so it’s most helpful to talk to us in-person!
