*each assignment and test will be assigned points

*There will be 2 grades per week per subject

* Science and Social Studies:  4th grade teaches a Science and Social Studies block at a time. So, your student will only focus on Science OR Social Studies for about 3 weeks at a time, or until that entire unit is complete. While we are in that block, you will only see grades for that subject for those weeks. Do not panic if you do not see Science grades for a few weeks.

Grading Scale

A -- 90 - 100

B -- 80 - 89

C -- 70 - 79

D -- 60 - 69

F -- 59 and below

Zoom Information

The expectation is for all students to log in for live instruction by 12 PM to learn with their teacher and classmates daily.  You will have ELA and Math at specific times based upon your homeroom.  Your teacher will send that out at a later date.  If logging on is not possible at the above listed times, all Zooms will be recorded by teachers and posted in Google Classroom the same day. The best experience for students will be if they are able to log in and be live on Zoom at the times listed above.  Each Zoom link will be posted in that day’s assignments on the Google Classroom.

• We will be joining this together as a class during our Zooms the first week, if you have not already joined on your own. This is where all the work will be posted for every subject every day.
• Each homeroom will have one Google Classroom that is used. (Example- Mrs. Gravot’s student’s assignments will be in one Google Classroom for every subject.)
• The Classroom will have TOPICS. Here are the TOPICS you will see in Google Classroom:

• Your student will be required to mark their attendance each day!

• We will take our time getting your student comfortable with the technology and google classroom! Please know we are here to help whenever needed!

• Students will record attendance in a Google Form posted in their Google Classroom under the “Attendance” topic daily.  Teachers will then record the collected attendance in Qmlativ (Skyward). If your child is unable to attend the live Zoom, please email your child’s teacher to make him or her aware. Assignments need to be completed and turned in on the posted due date.
