Melissa is the founder of Assistant to the Therapist, a virtual assistant service designed specifically for mental health providers. Her mission is to help clinicians reclaim their time and focus on what matters most—serving their clients—by connecting them with reliable, affordable, and skilled VAs.

In 2015, Melissa founded a mental health agency in Rhode Island dedicated to providing inclusive, affirming care for the LGBTQ+ community. Under her leadership, the agency has since expanded to serve clients in Florida and Puerto Rico, continuing its mission to create safe, supportive spaces for healing and growth.

Now based in Puerto Rico, Melissa continues to lead her businesses while also exploring her passion for visual art—creating meaningful works that inspire connection, reflection, and transformation.
