  1. Ethics Code Change Presentation. This will be presented this week to the Assembly and Senate. If they approve it, it will be up to be voted on in the Executive Council next meeting. 2. Graf wants to know about how the assembly and senate would work within the timeframe for handling complaints
  1. Kenny says you could always convene via email

  1. Taite found in code it is only one senator and assembly member even on standing ethics committee
  1. Graf asks how the student is held accountable within student government for a state or federal government breach
  1. This will be addressed if we ever come to it with not only ASBSU, but the university
  1. Graf asks what happens if this goes into summer for handling a complaint
  1. It would have to be determined within ethics committee if the appeal is part of this or the next academic year
  2. Would probably become a part of summer session
  3. Discussion on the idea that maybe the ethics process ends with the end of term
  4. Again would be on a case by case basis
  1. Idea: Could include some wording for at fault violation regarding code of conduct
  1. Charlie thinks it may already be built in, in some ways
  1. Idea: Charlie thinks maybe we should look at other areas of code not only ethics so that the code can’t be used for personal gain and check for things that are outside of our purview
  1. This is something to think about in the future
  1. Eric and I got in touch with Lauren Griswold to work on obtaining email addresses for our Senators-- piloting whether or not it should be pursued for the Assembly members as well.
  2. I reached out to Dr. Buckwalter to ask about Graf being regularly invited to the Dean’s Council meeting so we have insight at each level in the University about what is happening in each space.
  1. Update: Dean’s council has declined the seat, but encourages us to request a time for us to present in their meetings when things come up-- vice versa as well.
  2. Graf and Eric will request 15 minutes at a meeting to discuss a few things with the deans

  1. Reintegration committee: Central district health is overwhelmed with cases and their contact tracing team isn’t capable of reaching out to positive cases until after their recommended quarantine period has already concluded. The city has started advertising that Boise State is the place to go for testing and Public Health is seeing a large increase in the number of community members wanting tests from us.
  1. The campus community is nervous due to lack of communication
  2. Students and Boise State community still currently have priority at the testing center
  1. The Helmet cart had a maintenance issue, it’s since been fixed but it did cost $250ish. The existing line item budget covered the cost, but to refill the gas tank it will most likely require a bill.
