Fourth Grade Newsletter No 16
December 4th-8th, 2017

To all of my wonderful families,
We have a lot coming up! We are going to be busy right up until Christmas break!
*CA Relief project is due the 8th
*Book Report is due on the 15th. Don’t forget about the picture to go along with it. I may not officially ‘assign’ reading homework, but your child should still keep up on their reading. 1 chapter per night, and 2 on the weekends. However that works best for your family.
*PIG RACES!!!! on the 6th. If you would like to volunteer for the Pig Races, please let the office know and come on by! I’ve never experience this myself personally, but I have every confidence it will be a lot of fun! The students are welcome to come in free dress that day, as long as they are in their team colors. NO CHAPEL THAT DAY!!!
We are looking for volunteers to help with one of the most popular events of the school year – The Pig Races! We would be so blessed if you could come and lend a hand on Wednesday, Dec. 6th. We begin set-up in the gym at 8:30 and the Pig Races get started at 10:00. There are lots of easy-to-do tasks and we have almost as much fun setting up as we do at the event. We are always finished before lunchtime but you don’t have to be available for the entire 3 hours in order to help. We hope to see you there!

*½ day on the 22nd. There is NO DAYCARE! Please do not forget to pick up your child that day at NOON!
*Christmas Break: Dec 22nd-Jan 7th. Sleep. Sing Christmas Carols. Celebrate the birth of our Lord. Make cookies with your child. Drink Coco with marshmallows. :) Take a break! :)
