This Week at CSBC:

January 20 - January 26

“Football Sunday” Coming 2.3.2019

“Football Sunday” here at CSBC happens on the same day as the Super Bowl, February 3. It is an evangelistic opportunity for our church that points people to Jesus Christ. There will be video testimonies from NFL players who are believers who desire to see others come to know Christ. This year we will hear stories from quarterbacks Kirk Cousins, Case Keenum, and linebacker Demario Davis. Following the morning service, we will be enjoying a “Tailgate Lunch” in the Gillming Center. We will be providing invitations for you to use to invite your unchurched friends, especially those football fans! Begin praying and inviting now for “Football Sunday 2019.”

Men’s Retreat Coming In February

On February 1-2, the men of our church will be heading to Friendship Baptist in Owasso, Oklahoma for a great time together at their annual Beast Feast & Life Skills Retreat. This is always a great time for our guys. Register in the lobby or online at mycsbc.com.

Reaching New Families In 2019

More than 800 households (including 200+ households with children) are moving each month into just four of the zip codes from which people come to our church. That is why we believe the new indoor playground, new children’s ministry entrance and new signage will all help us to reach these families with the Gospel. It is my prayer that through your generous giving we can finish up this project as soon as possible

Read The Bible With Us!

It’s not too late to get started!  We want to encourage everyone to join us this year as we read God’s Word together in 2019. A printed copy of the “Discipleship Journal Reading Plan” is available in your Sunday School class or in the lobby. It is also available in the YouVersion app on your mobile device or online at Bible.com. There is a link to the reading plan on mycsbc.com as well.

Atrium Remodel In Full Swing

Walls are up, electric is roughed in, and sheetrock is being hung as part of the process of transforming the atrium of the Gillming Center into the entrance and face of our CSBC children’s ministry. The indoor playground will provide a great way for us to invite our community in our doors. The first phase will be approximately $50,000. Currently we have $23,960.17 on hand for the project. The second phase will complete the south entrance and provide additional handicapped parking, with a projected cost of $14,000. Your gifts will make a difference in reaching children and families with the gospel!
