Be prepared on all of these days with props, costumes, and a rehearsed performance.

Students perform their assigned chapter of the text in front of the class.
Students provide a script that includes cast, props, setting, stage directions, and dialogue.
Students perform in costume and with any needed props.
Students perform their scene with minimal reading from the script.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears
PROPS/COSTUMES: Large book entitled "Ubbi Dubbi Fairy Tales" for Narrator to hold. Table, 3 bowls of porridge, 3 spoons, 3 chairs (decreasing in size), 3 beds (decreasing in size -- you could use sleeping bags). Costumes: Brown turtlenecks (for Bears); tie (for Papa Bear); bib (for Baby Bear); little girl costume (for Goldilocks). Makeup: Black noses for bears, wig for Goldilocks.
SETTING: The house of the three bears -- first the kitchen, then the bedroom. But you could do this play in your living room. This play can be performed in English or Ubbi Dubbi. Use the Ubbi Dubbi Translator to translate it.

Last time on Ubbi Dubbi Fairy Tales, the three Bears went for a walk, and Goldilocks found their house and their porridge waiting to cool.
(Goldilocks enters and approaches the table. On the table are 3 bowls of porridge, and 3 chairs behind, decreasing in size.)
First she tried Papa's porridge.
(Goldilocks tries porridge, makes face.)
Next she tried Mama's porridge.
