1) What is "wealth disparity," and why is it important to understand?

Wealth disparity refers to the unequal distribution of wealth or assets among individuals or groups within a society, which can lead to economic and social disparities, and affects quality of life and health outcomes for individuals and groups

          There could be many reasons why some people have more money and things than others     such as differences in education, skill level, job opportunities, access to resources, inheritance or social connections. All of these factors can contribute to wealth and resource disparities.

There are several groups and organizations that work to make things fairer for people who have limited resources or face social or economic challenges, such as Oxfam, Feeding America, Save the Children, ACLU, Global Citizen, World Vision, Amnesty International, the Anti-Defamation League, and the NAACP.
