We may collect this information to allow you to return to, develop, and edited the Memorial by Eirene page(s) you create for your loved one(s).

If you choose to make the Memorial Page public, the information you submit will be published on our website and may be viewed by anyone who visits our website.

When you fill out our online forms to use our Obituary and Condolences Writing Assistants

Contact information – name, email.

Other information – your relationship to the deceased individual, any other personal information you share with us when filling out the online form.

We may use this information to produce and send you a copy of the obituary or condolences text you requested.

When you interact with our websites, including our Products page and Memorials by Eirene page, our emails and/or our online advertisements

Trackers, usage data, such as the pages you visit within our website;

Server log file location, internet service provider, unique identifiers, or IP address;

We may use the information collected through your interactions with our website to ensure that our website works correctly. We also use this information to ensure that we record your preferences so that you do not have to re-enter them every time you visit our website. When you purchase internment services

We collect your name, age, SIN, address, email address, relationship to the deceased, and photo identification.

We use this information to provide you with the service requests. For example, we use this information to complete all required paperwork and permits, produce Proof of Death certificates for estate settlements, publish an online obituary on our memorial website, provide estate administration support, and/or provide CPP/OAS application guidance.

We share this information with the crematorium and the transfer service in your local area that we engage to carry out the services you request. We also communicate with doctors and the appropriate hospice. We ensure that you are informed before we share this information with these parties.

AUTOMATIC PROCESSING 

This section of the Privacy Notice describes the personal information collected and used for website management and the execution of online advertisement activities, which we may use for the following purposes.

Online Advertising: This service allows user information to be utilized for advertising communication purposes. These communications are displayed in the form of banners and other advertisements on Eirene Cremations, possibly based on user interests. Some of the services listed below may use trackers and other use data to identify users or they may use the behavioral retargeting technique, i.e. displaying ads tailored to the user’s interests and behavior, including those detected outside our website. Displaying Content from External Platforms: This service allows users to view content hosted on external platform directly on our website. This type of service might still collect web traffic data for the pages where the service is installed, even when users do not use it. This service is powered by Google Fonts (https://policies.google.com/privacy), Font Awesome (https://fontawesome.com/privacy), and Google Maps widget (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
