Itinerary:

Day 1 (Mon 19-May): Arrival & Mezcal Tasting Experience in Oaxaca City

• Morning: Arrive in Oaxaca City and check into our AirBnB Casa Leo in Oaxaca City
• Afternoon Group Activity: Mezcal Tasting Experience

• Visit Mezcaloteca for a 1 hour guided tasting of artisanal mezcal.
• Free time at historic center (lunch, shopping, or bar hopping)

• Evening Group Activity: Dinner at Los Danzantes

Day 2 (Tue 20-May): Monte Albán

• Morning Group Activity: Monte Albán Archaeological Site Tour

• Commute time: ~30 minutes from Oaxaca City by private transportation
• Private 1-hour guided tour of the ancient Zapotec ruins, with panoramic views of the Oaxaca Valley.

• Afternoon (free time): 

• Option 1: Chilling at the Airbnb
• Option 2: Visit San Bartolo Coyotepec (black pottery) and San Martín Tilcajete (alebrijes workshop)

• Evening Group Activity: Casual dinner at Origen, followed by rooftop drinks at Selva (or any other bar).

Day 3 (Wed 21-May): Travel to Mazunte & Puerto Escondido

• Morning commute to Puerto Escondido: Take the new highway (~2.5-3 hours) from Oaxaca City to check-in the AirBnb Casa Rhino in Puerto Escondido
• Afternoon Group Activity (1:00 PM): 

• Option 1: Relaxing Beach Day in Mazunte - Transfer to Mazunte (1 hour from Puerto Escondido).

• Enjoy fresh seafood at El Alquimista (2:00 PM)
• Chill at Playa Mermejita or San Agustinillo, enjoying the sun and the sea

• Option 2: Chilling in the AirBnB and on the beach in front of it.

• Evening: Return to Puerto Escondido for a free evening (if going to Mazunte)

Day 4: Private Boat Day in Puerto Escondido

• Late Morning to Early Afternoon Group Activity: Private Boat Day

• Start around 10:00-11:00 AM
• Private 6-hour yacht trip near Huatulco with drinks and snacks
• Options for snorkeling and open-water swimming
• Return to shore around 5:00 PM.

• Afternoon: Free time to relax at Carrizalillo Beach or Playa Bacocho.
• Evening Group Activity: Beachfront Dinner at Almoraduz

Day 5: Return to Oaxaca City for Flights

• Morning: Private transportation or short flight from Puerto Escondido to Oaxaca City.
• Afternoon: Free time for last-minute shopping or quick lunch at the airport before flying home.
