Connecting to the Virtual Computer Lab (VCL):
- Visit http://morganstate.cloud.com and login with your MSU username and password.

- On the next screen, select the Use web browser link on the bottom left-hand corner. You will only see this screen the first time you login.

- Select Desktops on the home screen.
- Next, select BearGeneral.

- Wait for the virtual machine to boot up. A dialogue box will appear as featured below. Click the Close button. Select your desired software application(s) from the desktop. If you’ve never configured Kumo (integrated cloud storage solution), you’ll be prompted to perform a one-time set up. Follow these instructions for set up. Work completed in the virtual environment can only be saved to your cloud account using Kumo.

- Saving Your Work -- From within the application, select Save As and then select Google Drive from the This PC dropdown. It is strongly recommended you save your work often to avoid data loss since virtual desktop sessions are automatically timed out after 30 minutes of inactivity.

- Log off the virtual session properly to avoid future login issues.
