We are a community.

ETHCluj is more than a conference. It’s a space for builders, thinkers, creators, and dreamers to connect, collaborate, and shape the future of decentralized technology. We are committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for everyone—regardless of background or experience.

Zero tolerance for harm

Any harmful, abusive, or discriminatory behavior—whether by attendees, organizers, volunteers, speakers, partners, or sponsors—will not be tolerated. Violations may result in immediate removal from the event and community spaces.

We judge by actions, not identities.

You are welcome here regardless of:

• Age, race, nationality, or ethnicity
  
• Gender, gender identity, or gender expression

• Disability or neurodivergence
  
• Physical appearance

What matters is how you show up and how you treat others. We leave egos at the door.

We welcome everyone—from long-time contributors to first-time attendees. ETHCluj stands for openness in code, community, and conversation. Bring curiosity, empathy, and a willingness to learn. Great things happen when we explore together.

Respect everyone’s time, work, and perspectives. Lift others up. Disagree thoughtfully. There’s no room for trolling, gatekeeping, or belittling others. We all contribute to this experience together..

What We Create

At ETHCluj, we believe in public goods, open protocols, and cultural creativity. Whether you’re organizing a meetup, designing an app, minting a meme, or joining a grassroots movement—this is your space to create, hack, and share with others.

Meme responsibly. Banter welcomed. Keep it wholesome.

Personal Responsibility

If you’re building something, own it. Don’t expect others to do your work—but do expect support when you need it. We're here to collaborate, not micromanage.

🚫 Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable conduct includes, but is not limited to:

• Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination
  
• Derogatory language or slurs
  
• Inappropriate use of nudity or sexual imagery (e.g. in slides or presentations)
  
• Depictions of violence, threats, or deliberate disruption of events
  
• Unwelcome sexual attention or inappropriate physical contact
  
• Stalking, non-consensual photography or recording
