How do I get to my class video session?

Each class has a slightly different time and link for live video sessions during Distance Learning.

  1. Log in to your MetroEd email account.
  2. Look for messages from your teacher.  Sometimes you may need to check a junk or spam folder.
  3. Open Canvas using our SVCTE link (be sure you are not using another school’s Canvas link)
  4. Check your teacher’s Announcements, Home page, Calendar, and Assignments (not all modules may be visible) in Canvas to find what you need
  5. Email your teacher for more assistance.

How do I log into my MetroEd email?

This document can direct you more specifically.  MetroEd uses G Suite email accounts at mail.my.MetroEd.net.  You probably received an email from student.accounts@metroed.net when your account was created - you may want to search your personal email for instructions.

How do I contact the attendance office?

You may dial 408-723-4260 or contact the student’s registrar by email.  In call cases, it helps to notify the office of major absences, but small absences (i.e. needing to leave class a little early) should be coordinated directly with the teacher.  In all cases, the teacher will be the best person to help work to make up assignments.
