Student Example – writing task extract I walked through the rubble that I used to call home, the buildings scattered beneath my feet. In front of me, firemen and doctors scurried about with stretchers and equipment to help the people injured in the quake. I wondered if they had found Lucy yet; just like they found me, hours after the quake hit. I remember… I was sitting at my desk, flicking through the mountains of homework I had been given the day before. Suddenly a loud crash sounded and a bubble of screaming noise pressed in on me. |
