About me

I’m an experienced software engineer and API architect turned developer advocate. I discovered my love for helping people learn while I was in management. After my son was born, I decided I wanted to work remotely so that I could have more time with him at home.

I have recent experience writing about using React, Jekyll, Node & Express, GatsbyJS, Elixir, Symfony 4, AWS, Heroku, and Netlify. I was the maintainer of React Quickstarts and the demo applications for Auth0.

I’m an avid support open-source software and advocate everyone having some experience with it. I’m a local tech community leader, meetup organiser/MC.
