Letter to MP's re: Bill C-16
Updated automatically every 5 minutes

Dear Ms/Mr. REDACTED MP,

My name is Jennifer REDACTED  and I have put forth an e-petition through the House of Commons website.  The petition is for the gender-based analysis (GBA) report on Bill C-16 be made public. https://petitions.ourcommons.ca/en/Home/About .

Unfortunately, I have been unable to find an MP who will authorize the e-petition for public signatures.  I have five attempts to find an MP who will take on this e-petition and I have already tried three.  Candice Bergen MP, Diane Finley MP and Alain Rayes MP were each approached but declined.

An article by Barbara Kay from the National Post, featured my search for the elusive GBA report.  At the time of publication, the e-petition was with Alain Rayes MP, who has since declined my request.

The article below features all the supporting documentation that I have been collecting since November, 2016 in order to gain access to the GBA on Bill C-16 which has been denied by ATIP, Jody Wilson Raybould and the complaint has been currently sitting with The Office of the Information Commissioner of Canada since Fall of 2017.

Woman Needs Support of Canadians To Advocate for Women's Rights

As you may be aware, Bill C-16 made an amendment to add gender expression/identity as protected ground against discrimination in the Canadian Human Rights Act as well as Criminal Code:

An Act to amend the Canadian Human Rights Act and the Criminal Code

Subsequent interpretation of the amendment has resulted in a surge of men self-declaring that they are females to gain access to women's sex segregated spaces such as:

I have also researched and found that Statistics Canada is no longer recording the sex of criminals, but by the gender they identify as.  Please find attached the letter I received from them.

These outcomes impact female persons in Canada in ways that amount to discrimination on the basis of sex, in direct contravention of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.  We wonder whether Members of Parliament understood the harmful implications of this bill when they voted to approve.  Thousands of women from across Canada are becoming increasingly alarmed at the ramifications and dangers that Bill C-16 has on biological women.

Some of the organizations that support my quest for the GBA on Bill C-16 are:

I would greatly appreciate it if you would be willing to contact me via email or phone,  in hopes that I can share more information and possibly, politely ask if you would approve my e-petition for the gender-based analysis (GBA) report on Bill C-16.

Warmest wishes,

Jennifer REDACTED
