12-year-old Tonya DeBose leads a relatively normal life in the small town of Hartville - until one day a spat with the neighborhood bully has a surprisingly magical conclusion, and Tonya must contend with the new powers she’s suddenly able to wield. Author Bio:
Riley Robert has authored a variety of work, including a children’s book on sickle cell disease and a series of Italian poems. She’s also worked in publishing itself for the last several years. Before becoming an author and working in publishing, she received a B.A. in English from the University of Kansas and a M.A. in Book Publishing from Portland State University.
