Aldridge Elementary  School  Giving Tree Project

Description: http://www.firstfriends.org/images/uploaded_images/special_events/Christmas%20Graphics/giving-tree_338x500.jpg

Begins: Thursday, December 4th          Ends: Tuesday December 17th

Aldridge Elementary Student Council, PTA, staff and students are sponsoring a giving tree this holiday season.  The giving tree helps our Ocelots and their families who need new clothes, toys and even food for the upcoming holiday season.

Here is how you can be a part of the “Giving Tree” and make this holiday season a little brighter for an Ocelot family in need:

  1. Pick an ornament hanging on the giving tree.
  2. Purchase the item(s) requested on the tag.
  3. Wrap the item(s) and secure the tag to the package.
  4. If you purchase multiple items on their gift tag, please put all the gifts in one large gift bag and secure the tag to the gift bag.
  5. Bring the item(s) to the front office for secure holding until the families pick them up on Thursday December 19 & Friday December 20, 2024.

The giving tree project is a great way to teach your own children about the true meaning of the holiday season while helping a family right here in their own school community!

The giving tree recipients benefiting from this project have already been chosen by a committee of Aldridge staff members.  All information is strictly confidential to protect the privacy of the families.

Families are assigned a letter and each child is assigned a number.  If you wish to help the same family, please pick ornaments with the same letter.  For example, family A may have 3 children.  The ornaments would be labeled A1, A2 and A3.

Giving Tree gifts must be received in the main office no later than Tuesday, December 17th.  Please remember to secure the ornament tag to the wrapped gift(s).

Thanks in advance for your participation and please know how grateful we are for your support. If you have any questions please email ngina.hardy@pisd.edu.
