SOCIAL  DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES

POLICY STATEMENT

  1. The role of the Social Director is to organize the social activities of the Club
  2. The Social Director is a full voting position of the Executive Committee.  
  3. It is held by the elected member from the annual General Meeting

RELATIONSHIPS

  1. Coordinates all the social functions, facility and entertainment bookings
  2. Reports to the Executive Committee

                                               

RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Coordinates all the social functions, facility and entertainment bookings
  2. Choose assistants to help perform duties
  3. Arranges for various teams and groups to organize events
  4. At the end of the year, schedules the next year’s event dates so as not to    interfere with other park or tennis activities
  5. Reviews and revises this document yearly. Revises as necessary, dates the document and submits it to the secretary for archiving. This document must always have the current year date attached.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED        

  1. Must be an active member in good standing

  1. All stand at once, push chair in, everyone move to the left
  2.  A very clear announcement needs to be made before movement starts
  3. The members need to be at the end of each row to guide the flow of traffic

Table arrangement was three horseshoes starting 102” from the exit door pool side. Horse shoes were 64 with 55” between tables.  4 -8’ tables were on each leg and 16 chairs were put on each side o” apart f the tables.  The ends of the tables had 2 square folding tables with a couple of chairs at this table. Food was placed on each table with the ham put on dinner sized plates, two to each 8’ table.
