MS WEEK AT A GLANCE: March 12 - 16

Lunch rotation: 6,7

1. Thank you, Jonathan, Stephanie and Karin for running Cyber Bullying and Child Safety lessons.
2. Summer Work Orders: Melissa sent a note out earlier during the day detailing the timeline and process for work you would like done in your classroom. Please add your requests to this spreadsheet
3. Season 4 After School Activities: Quarter 3 ends on March 13 and Quarter 4 After School Activities begin on 19th March. Please write to Melissa in case you are interested in hosting any After School Activity for the students in the fourth quarter.
4. Anthea will be at AES Monday-Friday, April 2-6 . There will be a few shifts in the schedule to maximize  opportunities for her to join meetings and events. We will share the plan shortly. We have gathered ideas from Lead Teachers, but if you have ideas of things she needs to have scheduled, please email me (Karen) with the Subject: Anthea’s Visit  
5. Early Release, Wednesday, March 14 will be for Parent Teacher Conference Planning.
6. Get your kids ready for Conferences! Here are the guidelines note shared about Spring Conferences. Let me know if you have any questions.
7. Conference meals:

• Wednesday- light dinner at 3:45-4:15 in the canteen for the faculty
• Thursday - Red Moon Breakfast in PE Office for all staff and lunch in MS cafeteria for the faculty
• Friday - Breakfast in PE Office

Repeated information:

1. We need to have more  supervision in the cafeteria for the first 20 minutes every day. Please sign up. Here is  a sign up link  for this
2. Please be sure Power School is up to date and that parents will not be surprised with bad news when they come to Parent Teacher Conferences. Make that call ahead of time to avoid surprises.
3. For any last minute substitute request please do mention the blocks that need coverage.
4. ET Date change - March 22, Day 1-8 (March 23 is Day 2)
5. Date Change: PSA Staff Appreciation moved from February 20 to April 4

8. Reminder to update ASA Student & Supervisor Attendance: Please update your ASA attendance with the links below. We need to know how many students are attending your activity each week, as well as supervisor attendance.

9. Indian Wear on Wednesdays:  A few faculty members suggested that MS Staff might want to dress in Indian wear on Wednesdays.  If you like this idea, please feel free to participate.

11. Calling in Sick: Please phone or text Melissa at 83770 23631. Be sure to mention which classes need to be covered with last minute requests.. Email your lesson plans to Melissa and copy Pooja, so they can be easily shared with the substitute teacher. Anytime you need to notify in advance for a substitute, please use either RAMCO or an email to both Melissa & Pooja.
12. Going Home Sick from School / Coming in late: Please sign in / out in the office so we can be well informed about who is present in the building. In case of emergency this information is important for us to have on hand.
13. Important information for the office: 
    We must know where students are at all times. If you take your class to a different venue, please notify the office.  Send an email, call or send a note.
