Leading Educator Certification for the Administrator

I completed the LEC Administrator program last spring and it was a tremendous experience for me.  Not only did we learn about and use relative and up to date tools, it allowed us to build a professional learning network among peers in the same field.  Each assignment we did was very practical, hands-on, and relevant to our every day job duties.

I participated in Leading Edge Certification a year ago.  It is perhaps the best professional learning opportunity I have ever experienced.  I developed a deeper understanding of technology trends and issues by utilizing tech tools to synthesize my knowledge.  

It changed the way I think about technology for students, staff, and myself and empowered me to try new things in my quest to make complex ideas comprehensible.  If you are looking for a "sit and get," this isn't the PD for you.  It wasn't always easy but it was well worth the effort!

Leading Educator Certification for the Professional Learning Leader

This course was the perfect blend of individual, online and collaborative work. It was well researched and the projects were applicable to my professional goals and work. I appreciated the coaching as well as the colleagues I met. This is a must for educational leaders as this models how are students should be learning in our ever changing world.
