Creating a Report in Report Builder

This is a great way to customize your reports to find information about library or patron information that is not included in the canned reports.

Choose the item you want a report on.  (Reviews refers to student reviews of library materials in your catalog).  We are going to do a title report.

Say you wanted to find a title count for different material types based on their publication year to help with collection development.

  1. Choose the items to be included in the Report

  1. Indicate how you want the information in your group to be grouped.

  1. Taken care of with the above selection
  1. Taken care of with the above selection
  2. Indicate how you want the information to be summarized:

  1. You can set up limiters to decide which information to include/exclude from the report.

  1. Enter a Name and then Save and Run.

Click on Job Manager to see the results.
