ELA | Students selected their book club novels this week! In addition, they have started work on the first list of spelling and vocabulary words. | |
Math | Â This week our classes began with an overview of class rules and expectations and a review of operations with integers. Â Students also learned how to classify numbers in the real number system. In Math I, this week we jumped into our unit on Sequences which entailed evaluating and analyzing patterns. Â This work will lay the foundation for working with rules and functions. Â Â | |

Social Studies | It was great to welcome the 8th grade class to school this week! We went went over the course syllabus, reviewed and introduced expectations and classroom procedures and routines.
