Meeting called to order by President Kate Fagan at 6:29 pm

Members – 49 members present, 4 visitors

• 2024 membership dues

• $50 cash, check, or PayPal invoice and due by March Meeting

• Block of the Month by Glad Hand Sews - Heather Akerberg
• 1st Quarter Challenge

• Use a jelly roll and a free or created pattern
• Due at March meeting

• Workshop Carole Lyles Shaw Workshop : Pinwheel Joy - Traditional to Modern

• $65 for Members, $75 for nonmembers

• Backpacks for Boystown, kits available for pick up at meetings
• Girls Inc and Protege House - stay tuned for new blocks and kits
• Kindness for Kennadi - NICU quilts - kits available for pick up at meetings or create own quilt with sizes between 30x30 - 45x45, can be flexible

• Retreat Committee

• Spring 2024 Retreat - Friday, May 3rd - Sunday, May 5th

• Location: Hazel Dillon Lodge @ Carol Joy Holling in Ashland, Nebraska
• Cost: 195 member / $230 non-member - main meals and lodging included
• Additional day-only sewing spots available this year - $65/day members $85/day non members

• this option will include meals for the day, but no overnight lodging

• sign-ups will open in early March

• Fall 2024 Retreat - Friday, Oct 18th-Sunday Oct 20th

• Location: Winterset, Iowa
• Cost and details to be communicated after spring retreat
