EVENT RULES

The Tournament will take place from Friday, Nov 8 to Sunday, Nov 10 at The Expo World Market Center,

SCHEDULE; SAT., NOV 9th, 2024 - COMPETITION DAY

SCHEDULE; SUN., NOV 10th, 2024 - COMPETITION DAY

Players must provide their own controller and cable, custom controllers are subject to the approval of the tournament officials

Xbox Consoles, Astro Mixamps and CRT TVs will be provided at the event. Players and coaches must bring their own Headsets. Some matches may be split screen; players must provide their own 3 pole 3.5 splitters should they wish to use their headsets.

All players must play with their registered gamer tags, and marching start.gg account. (Failure to do so may result in forfeit of the match)

Food and Drinks are not allowed around competition and gear.

All competitors on mainstage must use a headset. If a player does not have a headset, one

will be provided.

Tampering with tournament structure or bracket will result in a player and team removal from the tournament.

Players must play maps and gametypes in the order they are provided by the station referee.

All loser’s bracket matches will be played as a new match and not as a continuation match.

Only station referees and HCS Officials can determine if a match should be ended prematurely and or restarted.

After check-in, a team’s roster, including their coach, is considered locked and no members can be replaced or play/coach another team at any point during the tournament.

If a player has a dispute, complaint or concern during a match, they must bring it to the station

referee’s attention before the next game begins.

Use of obscene gestures, language or offensive comments toward other competitors, spectators or staff will result in a warning. After two warnings have been given, the team will have 1 “strike” remaining. After these 3 total infractions, the team will forfeit and or be removed from the event.  Badges will be given a Stripe on their badge for each strike.

Player and Coaches must remain on the team they registered with for the entire during of the

tournament and cannot become part of another team at any point. Coaches are not allowed to coach teams they did not register with.

Outside bags will not be allowed unless a press pass is issued clear bags will be provided if needed.

Use of Illegal drugs or controlled substances is also not permitted.

All decisions of the tournament managers are final. Players must respect referees and event staff at all times. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the event. LVL 50 reserves the right to update rules at any point in time.

Equipment Rules

Players are required to ensure that their equipment works before a game begins, and restarting a match could result in a forfeit of that game.

Players must not tamper, unplug or interfere with Xbox  consoles, TV’s, seating or

other equipment provided.

Competitors are responsible for their own belonging during the tournament including controller,

bags, clothing, etc.

All custom controllers are subject to approval by tournament officials. Game-altering controllers are not permitted for use during the tournament.

Allowed controllers are the original Xbox (S-Type) or Duke controllers

No use of any USB dongle attachment that allows for other controllers to be used.

All headsets must work with Astro Mixamps and must not require an external power source, or USB connection.

Stations will not be allowed for freeplay unless directed by a tournament official.

Competitors are not allowed to change TV settings and all fullscreen rounds will be played on "Widescreen" video setting

All attendees must bring a form of identification and age verification, any competitors under the age of 18 must have a completed and signed parental consent form.

When is the final day to register for a competitor ticket online?

Wednesday November 6th

Can I purchase Tickets or Passes at the door?

Yes, tickets can be purchased at the door.

Am I allowed to bring Media Gear In?

Only Press and Media Pass holders are allowed to bring in bags or Media Gear

How do I get a Media/Press pass?

Please email support@goldenbracket.gg requesting a pass and they will give directions on how to receive this pass.

Is there a Check in or a Registration at the Venue?

Yes It can be found at the main entrance before the doors to venue

If I purchase a team pass and can no longer refund, do I have options?

Yes you can sell your pass at your price but either you or the buy will have to pay a 50$ transfer fee at the door this can not be done online.

When should I arrive for check in?

Get there first the faster you check in the more warm up time you have if you fill out your info online the process will be even faster.

Are we allowed to play Money Matches at the event?

No. If you are caught doing a money match you will be removed from the venue
