Flatiron School strives to address student dissatisfaction as quickly as possible. Students should utilize the following guidance to resolve any grievances that arise during their time as a student with Flatiron School.


  1. Students are encouraged to first attempt to resolve any complaints or concerns by discussing the issue directly with the relevant party.
  2. Students who do not feel comfortable bringing the complaint to the relevant party, or who are not satisfied with the resolution, should direct their complaint as follows:
  1. On-campus students should reach out to their campus leadership
  2. Online students should reach out to their Faculty Manager
  3. Alternatively, any student may email their concerns to the Student Relations department (
  1. Within five (5) business days of receiving the complaint, the campus leadership (on-campus programs), Faculty Manager (online programs) or Director of Student Relations ( will contact the student to discuss next steps toward resolution.

Flatiron School will not retaliate against any student who files a grievance or complaint against the school. Nothing in this internal Grievances policy prevents a student from filing a complaint with their state regulator.

Flatiron School strives to address student dissatisfaction as soon as possible. Students should utilize guidance in the catalog to address complaints directly with Flatiron School staff.

If after contacting Flatiron School, the complaint is not resolved to the student’s satisfaction, students residing in any of the below states may bring the complaint to the attention of their state’s governing regulatory body.
