Congrats to the Giants boys and girls cross country teams for their strong performance at the MRC Championships yesterday in Norwood Young America
-The girls team finished 3rd and the boys 4th.
-Senior Lane Schwartz is the 2018 boys MRC Champion and Senior Vicky Flores, Sophomore Arlett Rios, and 8th grade Cooper VandenEinde earned All-Conference Honors in the girls race. Way to go Giants Harriers!!!!
If any girl is interested in dance, they should plan to attend the first practice. The first day of practice is Monday, October 22nd from 3:15 to 5:45 at the Montgomery MS gym.
Garage Sale with all sizes for females. New with tags to hardly worn clothing. Brands like VS, Athleta, Calvin Klein, Cabi, Michael Kors, the North Face and much more. Shoes, booties, boots, etc mostly size 9. All season clothing, work out, athleisure and dress. Starting MEA Friday, October 19 open at 9:00-6:00 PM and Saturday, October 20 from 7:30-2:00. MARK YOUR CALENDARS: The Jr. Class will be having a fundraiser at Buffalo Wild Wings in Mankato on Oct. 22nd from 5:00pm-9:00pm. All you need to do is mention that you are there to support LSH and 15% of the sales will help support PROM. Funds will be raised from regular priced food items. Specials are not included in the fundraiser.
Boys Basketball players that are interested in ordering Travel Suits for this season should stop and see Mr. Marcussen this week for information
Middle School Open Gym for basketball continues this Sunday 4:00 - 6:00 pm in the High School Gym. Wear clean shoes and cost is $10 for the eight Sundays of Open gym. See Mr. Marcussen for details
Blood Drive is Oct 24th @ 9:00am-2:30pm in the audition, see Kindre Randloff for details.
There will be an informational meeting for high school students interested in being on the yearbook staff this year. We will meet during high school lunch on Tuesday, October 23rd in Mr. Christ's Health Room (Room 235). Stop and see Mrs. Ludwig if you are interested in helping but can't make the meeting

Minnesota National College Fair will be Oct 24th and 25th. Interested students can register online or with Mr. W.
Attention juniors and seniors: If you need official school transcripts sent to colleges or universities, please see Mr. Wandschneider in the college/career resource center.
Night school has started! If you have some Summer School hours to complete they need to be done by the end of October. If you have other credits to work on, get started now.
Driver Education classroom instruction begins Oct. 22. You must be at least 15 years old by the start of classroom instruction. Registration forms available in the office. Registration due October 17th.

Activity passes may be purchased in the HS office or at any home game.
Cost is $30 for students and $75 for adults. This pass will get you into all LSH home athletic contests for the 2018-19 school year. (This does NOT include tournaments.)
