GENERAL:

Driver Education Classroom begins June 4.  Must be 15 by the start of classroom instruction.  Registration forms available in the office.  Registration deadline is June 1st.

If you need behind the wheel instruction, call community education at 665-4620 to set up times.

 

MS/HS Art students:  Please pick up your artwork from Mrs. Froehlich if you had it in the Gala.

 

Whoever picked up the 6ft. blue iphone charging cord from the library please return it.

 

Library Materials:    

Students in grades 6 – 11, your library books are due TODAY May 25th​

 

All track athletes who are done competing this season need to wash and turn in their uniforms.

Looking to improve upon strength, conditioning and agility for fall sports:  SUMMER ATHLETIC TRAINING COURSE for students going into 7th – 12th grade.  Pick up flyer with more information and registration in the office.

 

MS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

All 7th and 8th-grade softball players please get your clean uniform to Ms. Hovick ASAP.

 

MS students have LOTS of library books out.  Return books or pay the fine for lost books.

 

The middle school awards program is Thursday, May 31st at 1:30pm in the auditorium.

 

No formal 8th grade graduation program at night this year.  8th graders will be enjoying a picnic lunch on Thursday.

HS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Seniors – Park Elementary is looking for dunk tank volunteers at their Track & field Day on Thursday, May 31.  Call Maria Aguilar at Park 665-4702 to volunteer

 

SENIORS TAKE NOTE

Last Day for Seniors - Friday, May 25, 2018

·       Seniors do not report to school until 9:00 AM.

·       At 9:00 AM. report to the high school gym  for graduation rehearsal

·       In order to be eligible to participate in Sunday's ceremony, seniors are required to attend the rehearsal.

·       Bring caps and gowns to rehearsal.

·       10:00 - 11:00 - Farewell tour for Hilltop, Park and St. Anne's Elementary schools via bus

·       Students must ride the bus as opposed to driving themselves to each site. Visits to each site will be brief and parking at some sites is a challenge.

·       Senior picnic upon return on the practice field.

·       Seniors dismissed for the day at 12:00

Seniors are welcome to remain on the practice field until 3:00 but are not to be in the building or in the parking lots. School is still in session for grades 6-11. Students are still learning. Staff is still working. We need to continue to maintain the learning environment.

 

Senior "Pranks"

·       Any senior who participates in a "prank" that jeopardizes student safety, creates a substantial disruption to the learning environment, results in property damage and/or requires district resources to rectify will not be able to participate in Sunday's graduation ceremony.

 

Angels Amongst Us is looking for volunteers for June 16th.  Angels Amongst Us gives out several scholarships to LSH students and this is one of their main fundraisers.  See Ms. Hynes to sign up.

Volleyball:  Nicollet league schedules are in Coach Fritz’s room.  Please pick up ASAP

 

There will be a boys basketball meeting for Grades 9-11th and Grades 6-8 next Wednesday, May 30th during your lunch in the Careers Center room.  Please attend if you plan on playing next year.
