Richmond Chess Champions Membership Code of Conduct
Welcome to our Richmond Chess Champions Chess Club! In order to maintain a harmonious and friendly atmosphere within the club, and to enhance our chess skills, we have established the following membership code of conduct. We kindly ask that all members strictly adhere to these guidelines:
1. Respect and Friendliness: Members should treat fellow club members with kindness and respect. Regardless of skill level, everyone should be treated equally and with a friendly attitude.
2. Adherence to Rules: Members should abide by the rules of chess during matches and practices, as well as any relevant club regulations. Fair competition and rule compliance reflect the spirit of the club.
3. Active Participation: Members are encouraged to actively engage in club activities, such as regular tournaments and training sessions. The club's prosperity relies on everyone's collective efforts.
4. Collaborative Learning: Members should be willing to share chess experiences and knowledge, providing assistance and guidance to others. Learning together contributes to mutual improvement.
5. Facility Preservation: When using the club's premises and facilities, please maintain cleanliness and caution, and take care of public property.
6. Respect for Time: Arrive promptly for activities to avoid lateness or absence. If unable to attend due to exceptional circumstances, please notify the relevant parties in advance.
7. Respect for Others: Refrain from making offensive remarks and avoid arguments or conflicts. Maintain rational and calm discussions.
8. Compliance with Management: Follow the directives of the club's management, cooperating with and supporting the club's arrangements and organization.
9. Privacy Respect: Respect the privacy rights of other members and refrain from disclosing personal information without consent.
10. Offering Suggestions: Members are encouraged to provide suggestions and opinions on club operations, contributing to the club's development.
11. Rejection of Cheating: The use of any cheating methods, including external assistance and electronic devices, is strictly prohibited. Uphold an environment of honesty and fair competition.
12. Ethical Standards: Members should adhere to strong ethical and behavioral standards, upholding a positive image for the club.
13. Legal Compliance: Both within and outside the club, members should abide by local laws and regulations, refraining from engaging in any illegal activities.
Violations of the membership code of conduct may result in disciplinary actions, such as warnings or temporary suspension of membership.
