***If your child has a review, please grade the review and write the number of incorrect items at

the top right hand corner next to your initials

***Make daily reading a priority at home.  Aim for 20-30 minutes of reading each Friday and Monday.  Circle M   and/or F below if your student completed this reading time by reading alone or aloud.

Math: Complete Lessons 2 and 3, using the lesson plans inside your Bookshelf app and check for understanding.  Go back and correct any missed items together.

English:  Complete Lesson 2 and 3, using the lesson plans inside your Bookshelf app and check for understanding.  Go back and correct any mistakes together.

Spelling: We will have List 1 for two weeks due to our shorter week this week.  The test will be next Thursday. So kick off school with some fun and use sidewalk chalk to practice list words on an outside surface like the driveway. You can also use watercolors or tempera paint to paint the words onto paper for practice.

Reading: 20-30 minutes of reading daily; your student can read either independently (reading to himself/herself) or aloud with an adult/parent. Circle M when your student read on Monday and Circle F when your student reads on Friday :)  M      F

I sent home an ALL ABOUT ME page for fun that you could complete with your child, so that we can all learn more about each other next week. :)
