Although the School virus scans incoming and outgoing emails (including file attachments) we cannot guarantee that the content of an email communication or any file attachment is virus free or has not been intercepted or amended as it passes over the internet. Safe internet practice is for recipients to check communications are virus-free. The School accepts no responsibility for any damage caused by receiving emails from our email systems and/or hosted domains.

School emails will only come from “...@chschool.co.uk” email accounts.

The School will not send any emails asking anyone to click on a link to confirm confidential information such as their bank account details.

Recipients of School emails should be aware of notably different websites or those which begin with anything other than “www.cheadlehulmeschool.co.uk”.

Monitoring

Please be aware that if you send an email to a School account it will be subject to monitoring for lawful business purposes and will be stored and disposed of in accordance with the School’s Record Retention and Storage Procedures.
