Instructions- How to weave a star

Firstly you need to get the flax so you cut it but you gotta do it the right way or the whole flax bush will die!  Then when you get the flax you can start weaving. So i'm Doing the Harakeke star

1. First when you get the flax you fold the leaves togher  in the middle  shiny  sides facing towards
2.  Then  you insert your thumb nail 5mm from the inner rib and pierce the flax
3. Run your thumb nail up the edge from the bottom, Stripping  the edge off
4.  Repeat with the outer edge to leave two strips about 1 cm wide (depending how big you want your star)
