Sandbelt Championships
Our representatives in the Sandbelt did well overall with the ultimate for the Club being Anne Wardley winning the Women’s Over 60s Sandbelt Championship. She endured having to change venue midstream from St Kilda to Chadstone, and winning with a 3. Final scores Anne Wardley 21 (Hampton Bayside Bowls Club defeated Kate Rubenstein 20 (Caulfield Park Sports Club).
How do I Question My Selection Position
Talk to a selector (not your mates) - preferably the nominated selector on the Team Sheets. The names and phone numbers are there for you or in the Red Folder in the Bowls Office. We are willing to discuss as long as you approach us in a respectful and sincere way. Do you want to pass information to the selectors? Do it through your respective team selector named on the team sheet and listed in the Red Folder in the Bowls Office. We are always exploring ways to give our players the maximum number of games and this does cause some rotation and shuffling. Work with us as we endeavour to meet players and the Club’s wanted outcomes. And let’s enjoy bowling for Hampton Bayside Bowls Club! Go Sea Dragons!
We wish all bowling members an enjoyable Christmas season with family and friends. Whilst the Club will be closed for a few days, access to bowls will be available on most days over this period.
