This Week We… Math: We worked on strategies to add and subtract numbers up to three digits. Ask your third grader to show you their favorite method!
Fundations Unit 4 Family Letter and support resources can be found here (Spanish). In Wit and Wisdom, students we will asked and answered questions about a new information text, Giant Squid: Searching for a Sea Monster, used key details to identify the main idea, examined linking words and phrases in an explanatory paragraph, and distinguished shades of meaning among related words that described different degrees of large. Science/ Social Studies: used grid maps and played geography games. Social Emotional Learning (SEL): learned about El Dia de los Muertos. | Next Week We Will… Math: We will finish Module 2 before Winter Break which includes adding and subtracting up to three digits and rounding numbers to the nearest tens and hundreds.
