Here’s What We Are Learning
In Math, We will be wrapping up our unit on place value. We will begin learning all about measurement of volume and capacity. We will also learn about time intervals!
In Reading, we. will review and dig deeper into graphic features and how they help our comprehension. We will practice responding to reading using the A.P.E. strategy to justify our answers using text evidence!
In Writing, We will work on revising and polishing our opinion pieces. We will practice a variety of editing and revising skills!
In Science, we will continue to learn all about ecosystems! We will learn how natural disasters can affect ecosystems!
In Social Studies, we will learn all about culture! We will explore all about the food, clothing, religion, and language of a variety of cultures.
In SEL, we will focus on developing our friendship skills. We will also learn how to follow conversation rules with others!
In Spanish class students are describing the flag, landmarks, and foods of Argentina.

*It is imperative that students know their multiplication facts 0-10 with automaticity. Please have your child practice nightly. Please see the Third Grade website for links to multiplication practice resources.
*This is the time of year when we begin spiraling through and reviewing concepts introduced earlier in the year.
*Please make sure your child’s device is fully charged when they arrive at school in the morning. They should also bring their charger to school in the event they need to recharge during the day.
