Friends of the Hot Springs City Library

April 29, 2024

Meeting was called to order at 3:05 pm by George.

Present:  Francis Raynor, George Parsons, Deanne Hazleton(by phone), Josh Davis, Loretta Abbott and Starla Rice acting as secretary were present.  

Starla read the minutes from the March 11, 2024 meeting.  George entertained a motion to approve the minutes.  Josh moved that the March 11, 2024 minutes be approved.  Loretta seconded that motion.  All members present approved.

Treasurers Report: No Report  Starla will get together with Peg to go over the books.

Beginning balance was __________ deposits were ________.  Debits were _______.  Balance is ________.   Discussion:  ________ motioned that the treasurer’s report be approved.  _________ seconded that motion.  All members present approved.  

Old Business: Annual Honoring Tea was attended by 33 people.

New Business: Summer Fundraiser June 15, 2024 10am-4pm

Set up 4pm Friday June 14, 2024 Tear down 11am Monday June 17, 2024

Silent auction items at the library by June 3, 2024

Bidding will start online Monday June 10, 2024

Bake Sale Starla will file for a permit.

Starla presented $40 for Settlers and Sodbusters, $22 Donations from Honoring Tea, and $98 for coloring books and vending machines.  Total $160.

The next meeting will be June 3, 2024.

George entertained a motion that the meeting be adjourned at 3:30 pm.  George moved that the meeting be adjourned.  Josh seconded that motion.  All members present approved.
