RETIREE INSURANCE

I’M A RETIRED SCHOOL DISTRICT EMPLOYEE AND HAVE MY INSURANCE THROUGH THE SCHOOL DISTRICT.  MAY I MAKE THE PREMIUM PAYMENT ONLINE?

No.  Premium payments must be made by check.

WHEN ARE MY INSURANCE PAYMENTS DUE?

Premium payments must be made by the 15th of the last month for each quarter.  If your payment has not been received, you will be notified.

BIDDING

MY COMPANY WOULD LIKE TO BE INCLUDED IN THE NEXT BID CYCLE. HOW CAN WE BE ADDED TO THE NOTIFICATION LIST?
To be included in the Bid Cycle Notification List, you should contact Lisa Schriner, Accounting Manager, at lschriner@cvschools.org  and include the following:

• Company Name
• Company Address
• Company Phone
• Bid Contact Name
• Bid Contact Email

REFUNDS

HOW DO I GET A REFUND FOR A FIELD TRIP, BOOK, ETC.?

In order to be refunded for a classroom purchase, you must notify the classroom teacher and provide documentation showing the amount paid, as well as the name and address to whom a check should be made payable.  The teacher will forward your request to the Business Office and a check will be processed on your behalf.

REAL ESTATE TAXES

WHERE DO I PAY MY TAXES?

Your tax payment should be mailed to your Township Tax Collector.

HOW IS MY REAL ESTATE TAX BILL COMPUTED?

The real estate tax amount billed is based on the assessed value of your land and building, which is determined by the Cumberland County Property Assessment Office.  It can be found on your real estate bill.  The assessment value is NOT the market value. 

To verify your property's assessment value, you may contact the Cumberland County Property Assessment Office at 717-240-6350.

Interim Tax notices are mailed to applicable residents as a result of additional assessments to your land and building values during the tax year.  Some examples include new home construction, pool installation and building additions.

Residents should contact their Township tax office with questions about their bill.
