MDB Ideation #3: Pre-Team Matching

Preface

We’re coming up on the last week of ideation! Now that we’ve discussed a variety of ideas and you have had the opportunity to explore some of the spaces you could potentially be building in, it is time for us to select the ideas that will become this semester’s Newbie Projects! This week, we will do our last round of filtering through the ideabase so that you can pick which teams you are interested in being a part of. This assignment will be short and is just meant to get you to start thinking about what you’re looking for in a project.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

Read this article from Anmol: https://medium.com/mdblog/what-makes-a-successful-app-idea-908ff7f5d233. This should get you thinking more from a mobile development perspective, as your project will be built in the same language as your training program. Consider which ideas are well-suited to become a mobile application and which may be better off on another platform.

Read through the attached lists of ideas. These are the ones from the Week 2 assignment. Please read over the ideas to rank your top 5 problems that you would like to tackle. NOTE: You are ranking the problem not the solution (there might be multiple solutions proposed for a problem just rank which problem you want to work on).

After reading through all of the ideas, choose 5 ideas that you would be interested in working on. Submit your responses to this Airtable form. Also fill out this form for any preferences on who you would like to work with in a group.
